Born and developed amid the negative views of society in previous centuries, Tattoo Art (tattoo art) only exists in a narrow community. In recent years, tattoo art has begun to develop more widely and be more accepted by the community as young Vietnamese people have an open view and love this form of art.
In the world, tattooing is an ancient art, originating from ancient tribes of many countries. In Vietnam, tattooing is one of the oldest customs, has existed the longest and has thrived since the Tran Dynasty. However, most people in society have prejudices about tattoos and believe that it is a symbol of “tiger and leopard”, so tattoo art in Vietnam in the late years of the last century encountered many difficulties.

According to Mr. Nam Phong – one of the famous artists in Vietnam’s tattoo industry, thanks to the import of Hollywood movies and the quick acceptance of Vietnamese stars, it has helped young people in Urban areas in Vietnam are familiar with tattooing.
